Isaiah Rodgers might be with the Vikings now, but he’s spent a good chunk of the offseason with his former Eagles teammates.
Isaiah Rodgers no longer plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, but you wouldn’t know it based on his offseason schedule.
Months after signing with the Minnesota Vikings in free agency, Rodgers is still keeping his commitments and showing up for his former teammates. The CB has hit up several charity events, including flying to Iowa and Philly for Cooper DeJean and DeVonta Smith’s charity softball games, respectively, and even attended A.J. Brown’s engagement surprise.
Rodgers admitted that it was hard to leave the Eagles, but has consistently shown his appreciation for the team that took a chance on him — signing him during a one-year suspension for gambling — and the teammates that embraced him.
The cornerback made a huge impact during the Eagles Super Bowl run, stepping in many times for Darius Slay, and finding ways to make big plays game-after-game. While Rodgers will be missed on the field, it seems he’ll be missed even more off the field by his teammates that became brothers.
