Some heads-up NFL fans dug up an interesting clip of Kirk Cousins’ message to Baker Mayfield in Week 15 that aged terribly.

The Falcons defeated the New Orleans Saints 19-17 on Sunday, handing the NFC South to the Carolina Panthers by virtue of a three-way tiebreaker. If Atlanta had lost, the Bucs would have won the two-team tiebreaker and clinched a fifth straight division title.

After Kirk Cousins helped seal the fate of Tampa Bay, internet sleuths dug up his message to Baker Mayfield, following the Falcons’ upset of the Bucs in Week 15. In their postgame handshake, Cousins told Mayfield to, “Go win the NFC South.”

Not only did Cousins play a hand in the NFC South race, but he also finished the season strong for Atlanta after coming off the bench for an injured Michael Penix Jr. He threw for 1,721 yards, 10 touchdowns and five interceptions, per ESPN.

Cousins at least showed other NFL teams that he can be a starting quarterback elsewhere.
