In order to get this season back on track, the Broncos are going to need some serious clean-up on aisles 1, 2, and 3.

Every phase of the game for the Broncos shows inconsistent execution and serious mistakes in the penalty department.

Penalties happen in every game to every team in the NFL. But teams that make a habit of getting drive-killing flags on offense and drive-continuing flags on defense end up on the wrong side of the win-loss column.

This upstart young team needs discipline and focus that have been lacking so far this season.

If they can couple that with just some minor progress with playmaking, they will flip the script on what we’ve seen thus far in 2025.

To their credit, this team definitely has the right fight in them. I see no signs whatsoever of them giving up. They also have a hell of a lot of creativity in the play-calling department. We’ve seen some very nicely drawn up plays in key situations on both sides of the ball.

This week, they face the Cincinnati Bengals with a superb opportunity to get headed in the right direction.
