The Pittsburgh Steelers may have made their last move before the start of the 2025 NFL season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have had themselves yet another very active offseason under general manager Omar Khan. And while many are hoping they aren’t done adding to their roster, ESPN insider Adam Schefter believes that is the case.

“I think they’re always looking, but I think they’ve made their moves,” Schefter said on the “Rothman & Ice” show. “I don’t have any more moves they can make. They’ve made a ton of moves so far.”

There are two moves fans are hoping the Steelers still have under their sleeve. One of those is adding a wide receiver.

Pittsburgh acquired Pro Bowl tight end Jonnu Smith as part of its blockbuster trade with the Miami Dolphins last month, but the team could still use another outside threat.

A name that has consistently popped up is free-agent wide receiver Gabe Davis, who many believe is still an option for the Steelers.

Davis is still only 26 and has been very productive, when healthy, recording 183 catches for 2,969 yards and 29 touchdowns through the first five years of his NFL career.

The other position Pittsburgh could look to add is safety. The team created a clear hole when it dealt Minkah Fitzpatrick back to the Dolphins.

The Steelers did sign veteran safety Juan Thornhill to a one-year deal in March. But besides him, they are quite thin at the position, and there are still a few intriguing options on the open market.

Only time will tell if Pittsburgh will make those moves, but it seems the team’s big splashes are done for now.
