Aaron Rodgers has sparked some speculation of a secret marriage, having appeared at the Kentucky Derby with what looked like a wedding ring.
The free agent quarterback was at Churchill Downs for the weekend’s prestigious race, and his ring is dominating the conversation, even as questions regarding his NFL future loom.
Rodgers has confessed that he is considering retirement following the Jets’ decision to release him at the end of the season. He is also understood to be in a relationship with a certain “Brittani,” having revealed sometime ago that he’s in a serious relationship.

The admission, coupled with the ring, has set tongues wagging. But the Daily Mail has spoken to a source close to the player who says he’s unlikely to have tied the knot recently.
The insider told the Mail that “If Aaron is married, he isn’t telling anyone about it, all he has mentioned is that he wants to marry Brittani and wants to be a father.”
They also suggested that “the moment he will be a father is when he is done playing football.”
Rodgers has made plenty of revelations, both professional and private, in appearances on ‘The Pat McAfee Show,’ which is where he let it slip that he was dating a woman named Brittani. The source figures he will spill the beans on his marriage status on the popular show if there’s something worth mentioning.
“If he is married, he will mention that on a future Pat McAfee appearance,” they noted. “People close to him think that he isn’t officially and it might be a promise ring.”
Aaron Rodgers has been engaged before, having famously proposed to actress Shailene Woodley before they called it off.
Meanwhile, Rodgers has been a target for the Steelers all offseason but remains undecided. That they waited until the sixth round to draft a QB could be an indication of where his future lies.
