Dawgs By Nature
While most of the talk, including some seemingly made-up drama, around the Cleveland Browns relates to the quarterback competition and the revamped offensive line, Todd Monken’s offense will run through RB Quinshon Judkins. The Browns are likely to run the ball at a high clip this year to help the offensive line gel and whoever is the starting quarterback.
Judkins’ rookie season has him on track to be among the top backs in the NFL, despite missing three games in 2025. Returning from injury, Judkins looked ahead of schedule during the spring as he hopes to build on his 827 rushing yards and seven touchdowns last year.
The young running back put out a video highlighting the offseason work that has gotten him prepared for training camp:
According to Mary Kay Cabot, Judkins is full go for training camp. Cabot noted that Judkins’ recovery was “the best-case scenario for a full recovery.”
Given Monken’s history, including recently with Derrick Henry getting over 300 carries in both seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, Judkins could see a big increase from the 230 rushes he saw in 2025.
A healthy Judkins getting a lot of carries could be the best thing for the Browns offense, no matter who is starting at quarterback.
What stat line do you expect for Judkins this year under Monken? Are you surprised he’s ready to go for training camp with no limitations?
