PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers got injured cornerback James Pierre back to practice on Wednesday, as he works his way back from a concussion suffered last week against the Buffalo Bills.
Pierre, now officially the team’s starting outside cornerback after the club released Darius Slay on Tuesday, missed the entire second half of the Steelers’ loss to the Bills while in the concussion protocol.
Head coach Mike Tomlin called him questionable to play this week against the Baltimore Ravens, but his participation in Wednesday’s practice is a positive sign toward his progress.
