The NFL returns to international soil in Week 10, this time planting its flag in Olympic Stadium of Berlin, Germany. International games are always interesting fare, mostly due to the havoc created by time zones. That means what’s a 9:30 a.m. EST game for the bulk of Buffalo Bills fans living in Western New York is a 3:30 p.m. game locally in Berlin.

For those of you on the West Coast of the contiguous United States, or much further “left” in Hawaii or elsewhere in the South Pacific, it’s likely still dark when kickoff between the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons happens. And hey, if you live in the polar regions (my apologies), it’s almost always dark at this time of the year and your funky circadian rhythm is ready to go.

For many, this is a rare national spotlight game to check in on the 7-2 Colts, current stewards of the one seed in the AFC playoff race. Indianapolis is a true surprise in 2025, a true juggernaut of a team led by a legitimate NFL MVP candidate in running back Jonathan Williams, and a suddenly franchise-minded Daniel Jones at quarterback — who’s played lights-out football most of the season.

In terms of Bills rooting interest in Week 10, this one’s easy. The preferred move here is for the Colts to lose. That would help Buffalo in two ways: Most obviously handing Indianapolis a very damaging third loss, but also improving the Bills’ SOS by tossing another win in the Falcons bucket.

This game should be fun, given how passionate Germany is for American Football. With that in mind, here’s your open thread for Colts-Falcons! As always, be kind to one another — and in all things… Go Bills!
(We’ll see you in similar form here later with our open threads for Bills-Dolphins.)
