The Indianapolis Colts released their Wednesday practice report.

The Indianapolis Colts today released their Wednesday injury report for Week 16 of the NFL season ahead of their Sunday game against the Tennessee Titans.

Cornerback Juju Brents was limited at practice today with a knee injury. The Colts announced today that they had opened the 21 day practice window for Brents to return from injured reserve. Brents was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury and has missed fourteen games while on injured reserve. Brents is a valuable piece of the Colts secondary and a big piece at the cornerback position who should help solidify a pass defense that has struggled most of the year.

Tight end Mo Alie-Cox (hip), wide receiver Ashton Dulin (knee) and kicker Matt Gay (neck) all missed practice today through injury. Alie-Cox and Gay are new additions to the injury report whereas Dulin has been dealing with a knee injury for multiple weeks now.

Wide receivers Alec Pierce (concussion) and Michael Pittman (back) both missed practice today through injury. Pierce entered the concussion protocol after sustaining a head injury during last weeks game and will likely miss this weeks game because of it. Pittman has been dealing with a back injury for the majority of the season but has been practicing fully the past couple of weeks but looks to have taken a step back in his injury progress.

Defensive end Laiatu Latu missed practice today through illness. The rookie pass rusher has had a great first NFL season and has been a bright spark on defense all year.

Linebacker EJ Speed missed practice today with a knee injury. Speed has popped up on the injury report a few times this season with a knee injury but has managed to play through it mostly.

Center Ryan Kelly (knee) and linebacker Jaylon Carlies (fibula and shoulder) were both full participants at practice today, Kelly and Carlies both had their 21 day practice window open last week in a return from injured reserve. However they were both ruled out of last weeks game as deemed not ready to return to game action just yet.
