It looks like New York Jets superstar cornerback Sauce Gardner and award-winning rapper Ice Spice really are the new athlete-music star power couple.
Rumors about Sauce Gardner and Ice Spice dating have been ongoing for several months, with speculation ramping up after they were seen hanging out together at a mall. Well, the 25-year-old music star essentially confirmed their romance on her Instagram account.
On Tuesday evening, Ice Spice posted several selfies on Instagram. In one image, she’s seen doing a mirror selfie with none other than the All-Pro cornerback:

Well, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift? It looks like there’s another celebrity couple involving another NFL star and music artist that will command plenty of attention, especially with Gardner playing in the giant New York media market.
Sauce Gardner’s previous dating history hasn’t exactly been well-documented, while Ice Spice was previously linked to YouTube star King Cid. It’s not clear if things ever got serious between the two, but it’s all a moot point now with Ice Spice and Gardner (seemingly) a thing now.
Kelce and Swift have been in a highly publicized romance for nearly two years, and the relationship has led to sky-high ratings and a greater worldwide following for the NFL. If Gardner and Ice Spice last a while, who says she won’t help bring more global attention toward the Jets as well?
The 24-year-old Gardner is set to begin his fourth NFL season with the Jets. And boy, did this franchise ever undergo a much-needed reboot.
Aaron Rodgers is gone, and Justin Fields was signed to take over at quarterback. The Jets also brought in a new coaching staff led by Aaron Glenn and a new general manager in Darren Mougey.
Gardner has been one of the few positives for the Jets since he entered the NFL in 2022. We’ll see if the sweeping changes by owner Woody Johnson lead to a better season in the Meadowlands.
