Super Bowl LIX is still more than two weeks out, but why wait until Feb. 9 to start placing those bets on the big game. If you have a strong feeling about how the game might go — and who might be playing it in — you can get in on that action now.
SUPER BOWL ODDS: The Eagles are favored to win it all, for now
Now, personally, I wouldn’t be in a rush to bet on these lines. You never know what type of injuries might take place in the conference championship games. But it is helpful to know the hypothetical odds for each of the four potential matchups when trying to decide on futures. You might want to know how big an underdog the Washington Commanders would be against the Buffalo Bills before placing that bet on Jayden Daniels to win MVP. Or if you’re stuck between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, knowing who would be favored might influence your decision.
So here’s a look at how FanDuel oddsmakers are handicapping the games.
Chiefs vs. Eagles
Spread: Chiefs -1.5 / Eagles +1.5
Moneyline: Chiefs -118 / Eagles +100
Over/under: 45.5
Bills vs. Eagles
Spread: Bills -1.5 / Eagles +1.5
Moneyline: Bills -124 / Eagles +106
Over/under: 48.5
Chiefs vs. Commanders
Spread: Chiefs -4.5 / Commanders +4.5
Moneyline: Chiefs -220 / Commanders +184
Over/under: 49.5
Bills vs. Commanders
Spread: Bills -4.5 / Commanders +4.5
Moneyline: Bills -235 / Commanders +194
Over/under: 53.5
Of note, the Bills would be stronger moneyline favorites than the Chiefs over both the Eagles and Commanders, which is surprising considering the Chiefs are favored over the Bills in the AFC Championship and have the current best odds to win the Super Bowl between the two.
As I pointed out earlier this week, it’s also worth noting the Eagles are underdogs in both matchups despite holding the current best odds to win the Super Bowl. That’s only because they have the best shot to advance this week as 6.5-point favorites over Washington.
