Pride of Detroit
Out of the bye week, the Detroit Lions are well rested and ready for a divisional matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings may be 3-4, but after a little mini-bye (following a Thursday night game last week), Minnesota is actually about as healthy as they’ve been all season. That could make for a very competitive Sunday afternoon in Detroit.
Here’s how to watch Vikings vs. Lions in Week 9 of the NFL season.
The game is on Sunday, November 2, 2025, and kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET. That’s right, the Lions are finally back in the early slate of Sunday games.
The game is being played at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan
The game is being televised on FOX.
Obviously, it’s in Detroit. As for other places in the United States, this is the No. 1 FOX game, so it’s being played in a lot of different places. Check 506 Sports to see if it’s in your area.
Yes! If you are a local Lions fan, you can watch the game on NFL+ with a subscription or for free via the Detroit Lions app.
The Lions are getting the top FOX crew this week: Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady. They’ll also have sideline reporters Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi.
