The Buffalo Bills are back and ready to get the 2025 NFL season underway. But first they have to play a trio of preseason games, which begins this afternoon when hosting the New York Giants at Highmark Stadium.

There are plenty of interesting story lines to follow, though none of them will involve quarterback Josh Allen playing a single snap today. On the Giants’ sideline, it’s a new year with a completely different quarterback group led by Russell Wilson and rookie Jackson Dart.

Though just the preseason, this game will carry a bit of drama due to the continued contract situation involving running back James Cook. Will head coaches Sean McDermott and Brian Daboll find their way to friendlier interactions this time around?
