Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is going to be one of the most sought-after players in free agency, and he would look absolutely magnificent in a New England Patriots uniform.

As marvelous as it would be to see Higgins’ shoulders flanked with the flying Elvis logo, his price tag is going to be pretty lofty if the Patriots can find a way to lure him away from Joe Burrow and the Bengals to New England, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano.

Graziano estimates that Higgins would fetch a four-year deal worth $114 million, with $70 million guaranteed.

“It’s also possible Higgins could benefit from a multiple-team bidding war and drive that number higher,” Graziano wrote. “The Patriots, Bills, Commanders, Ravens, Chiefs, Chargers and Panthers are just a few of the teams that could be looking to sign a high-end wide receiver this offseason.”

The Bengals drafted Higgins at the top of the second round in 2020, the same year they drafted Burrow. However, after drafting Ja’Marr Chase the following year, the latter leaped to the top of the system, and Cincinnati has the task of extending him this offseason.

Higgins is still a first-rate receiver who racked up 911 yards and put up a career-high 10 touchdowns in 12 games last season. The Patriots could certainly use that type of production at wideout.

The Patriots are in a position to be huge spenders again, with north of $125 million in cap space, according to Spotrac. Signing Higgins would be the best-case scenario for the Patriots in free agency. He’s just 26 years old and has No. 1 wide receiver talent.
