How do you grade the Detroit Lions’ 2025 offseason moves?
Pride of Detroit Pride of Detroit

The Lions had some unavoidable losses, but how did they weather the rest of the spring?

We’re in the home stretch now, the liminal point that divides “offseason” from “preseason” in the minds and imaginations of NFL fans. The Detroit Lions get it even earlier thanks to the Hall of Fame game—and of course, going to preseason also means that soon, there comes season thereafter. It has to.

So that would also imply we are near the end of offseason transactions; while there are a few moves that could still be made, most of the pieces are in place.

For the Detroit Lions, many of their marks were unavoidable: the departure of coordinators to head coaching jobs, plus Frank Ragnow’s sudden retirement casting questions on the offensive line. But besides that point, how did the Lions fare in their offseason moves?

On this episode of the Pride of Detroit PODcast, we’re discussing that question, plus superlatives on the best moves, least favorite transactions and most intriguing decisions made by Detroit. We are also continuing our NFC North LISTCAST protocol, this time by discussing the running back corps of the division. While Jahmyr Gibbs is a clear No. 1, who can hold a candle, and how does David Montgomery stack up heading into 2025?
