Monday was reunion day as the Las Vegas Raiders brought back wide receiver Amari Cooper to the franchise.
Whether Jakobi Meyers stays or not, Cooper will likely be near the top of the rotation along with Tre Tucker and rookies Jack Bech and Dont’a Thornton.
Cooper,31, had 44 catches for 547 yards last season split with the Cleveland Browns and the Buffalo Bills. He was solid leading up to last year and hew as considered the best available veteran on the street at this point of the offseason.
Cooper was drafted by the Oakland Raiders with the No. 4 overall pick in 2015. The Alabama product was a standout with the Raiders, but was traded to the Dallas Cowboys for a first-round pick (safety Johnathan Abram) in 2018.
