This offseason, the Chargers have seen positives and negatives. The largest of the latter being the season-ending ruptured patellar tendon injury to left tackle Rashawn Slater. However, there are positives in the preseason defensive dominance of the depth units. What Defensive Coordinator Jesse Minter devised in exhibition games routinely clamped down their opponents. The Chargers signed wide receiver Keenan Allen after the surprise retirement of Mike Williams. It’s been a rollercoaster.
