Jimmie Ward has likely played his last down in the NFL.

2025 has been rough as the Texans’ star has found himself arrested at least two times already.

In June, Catherine Dominguez and Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reported that Ward was facing a felony assault family violence charge. According to information from the Montgomery County Jail, Ward was arrested on the scene and held without bond at the time.

Earlier this month, Ward was back in jail again on a warrant for his arrest because he allegedly contacted his baby mother and was drinking when he wasn’t supposed to.

Now, things have gotten extremely bad for him and what is left of his career.

Jimmie Ward is being sued by the mother of his young child.

Jimmie Ward Is Facing Disturbing Allegations

Texans safety Jimmie Ward, facing a pending third-degree felony domestic violence assault case in Montgomery County, has now become a defendant in a civil lawsuit filed on behalf of his son’s mother.

She is being represented by attorney Tony Buzbee, who is the same man who went after Deshaun Watson.

The lawsuit alleges that Ward sexually and physically assaulted the woman while high on meth, per ABC 13 in Houston.

According to a lawsuit filed in Harris County, Ward is being accused of both physically and sexually assaulting Cristy West multiple times this year.

West and the Texans’ defensive back have been together for years and share a three-year-old son. He apparently did all of this in front of their child.

“On that night, she suspected he was under the influence of methamphetamines, specifically, crystal meth,” the lawsuit alledges of Jimmie ward.

That same day, he allegedly slapped and choked West, all while their son was asleep. Ward also reportedly threatened to kill her and forced her to perform a sex act.

“Ward jumped out of bed and began searching for her phone, accusing her of talking to other men,” the lawsuit says.

West then claimed she grabbed their son, ran outside naked and injured, and called 911.

Jimmie Ward signed with the Texans in the 2023 offseason and is under contract through 2025.
