The Denver Broncos get to shop in this draft for running backs, receivers, and defensive players instead of needing to find a starting quarterback and that is a relief

As a fan licking my chops to see who the Denver Broncos draft tomorrow night, I notice one missing piece in this year’s excitement: I’m not concerned about quarterbacks in this year’s draft.

What a relief for this team to not be chasing that dragon any longer. The weight of our quarterback situation over the better part of the past decade has caused every draft to either be about selecting the right one or how many players we are missing out on due to trades we made for the latest washed attempt.

Now, as a fan base, we get to be excited about building a team around Bo Nix. We’re all hungry to see some weapons added to the offense and some dogs added to the defense.

That’s a good thing too, because looking at this year’s draft, I think it would be hard to find a quarterback to be excited about my team drafting...
