The Tennessee Titans square off tonight with the Minnesota Vikings for their preseason finale. Cam Ward and the Titans’ offensive starters are expected to play a couple of series to close out the preseason. Ward has been pretty good so far this preseason. Hopefully, the continues tonight.

  • The Titans named a conference room after former GM Floyd Reese, who was the general manager of the Oilers/Titans from 1994 to 2006. He passed away in 2021. It’s unfortunate he had to spend his later years doing a radio show with Jared Stillman.

  • Van Jefferson has led the receivers in catches in training camp. It will be interesting to see the receiver rotation when the games actually count. My guess is that Jefferson is ahead of the rookies, but there is no doubt that the ceiling is higher with the young guys. How long will it take them to overtake Jefferson?

  • Cam Ward has recorded an episode of Bussin’ with the Boys that has yet to be released:

  • Bussin’ with the Boys, hosted by Taylor Lewan and Will Compton, isn’t always my cup of tea, but I will be tuning in to that episode for sure.

  • Melo wrote yesterday about the roster battles that are still unsettled heading into the preseason finale tonight. Most of the battles are for the backend of the roster type spots, but who will start at inside linebacker next to Cody Barton is still up in the air.
