Hollin Pierce is a draft prospect with a massive frame and plenty of collegiate experience. Pierce has started his collegiate career with Rutgers University as a walk-on recruit from Trenton High School (NJ). Between both tackle positions, he has started 4 years and totaled 3,172 snaps (Right Tackle: 1,473 snaps, Left Tackle: 1,696 snaps).
His positional projection at right tackle or guard is dependent on his foot speed at the next level. He is projected to work best in a gap run scheme.

Interview
Washington will be upgrading both sides of the trenches after a successful season. The offense was one of the best in the league in spite of having mediocre pass and run blocking win rates. The coaching staff will likely shuffle players along the offensive line due to performance evaluation (B. Coleman), injury (S. Cosmi), or possible salary cap cut (A. Wylie). Hollin Pierce would add needed size and positional flexibility. He’d give Washington another mauler in the run game and someone who can absorb power rushes from larger defensive lineman. Whether he fits best at guard or tackle, Pierce gives the Commanders a great prospect on Day 3 to upgrade their offensive side of the ball as a rotational piece or a starter.
