Former First Lady Hillary Clinton posted a photo of her family skiing on X/Twitter, and internet detectives caught one interesting detail in the image.
Hillary Clinton was the First Lady of the United States from 1993 to 2001 during the presidency of Bill Clinton. She stayed in politics long after Bill left office, running for the White House in the 2016 presidential election.
Since losing the 2016 election to Donald Trump, Clinton has often avoided the public spotlight. That said, the 78-year-old continues to post regularly on social media.
On New Year’s Day, Hillary Clinton posted a photo of the family skiing at an undisclosed location. Look closely, and you’ll see she’s wearing old Washington Redskins gloves:

The Washington Commanders, of course, dropped the “Redskins” name in 2020 after decades of criticism and controversy. They were known as the “Washington Football Team” for two years before adopting the name “Commanders” in 2022.

“Either this photo was taken when the Redskins were still the Redskins or Hillary Clinton still wears the problematic Redskins name when she goes cross country skiing,” wrote another.

President Donald Trump pushed for Washington to bring back the old name. However, last year, Commanders owner Josh Harris emphasized that they would be retaining the “Commanders” name.
Clinton has never stated who her favorite NFL team is. Of course, it’s easy to guess the Commanders after this photo surfaced. Her husband spent eight years in office in Washington, too.
What we do know is that Clinton is an admitted fan of the Chicago Cubs and New York Yankees. Clinton expressed her allegiance to the Cubs during their 2016 World Series championship run.
However, Clinton also came to like the Yankees. She admitted it was hard to root for the Cubs during all those decades of losing.
