Here's when NFL teams can officially sign Aaron Rodgers (if they dare)
For The Win For The Win

Aaron Rodgers’ tenure with the New York Jets has come to an end two years, 18 games and one repaired Achilles tendon after it began.

On Thursday, the Jets officially announced they are cutting ties with the quarterback they signed to a three-year, $112.5 million contract after the 2022 season.

Now 41 years old and a lifetime removed from his 2021 MVP award, Rodgers may very well decide to call it a career and officially retire. His numbers surely indicate he probably should.

The former Packers star passed for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions during his stint with the Jets. He completed just 62.9 percent of his passes. All the while, the Jets won only six games started by Rodgers, fired general manager Joe Douglas, fired head coach Robert Saleh, traded for Rodgers’ old buddy in wideout Davante Adams, endured numerous controversial appearances from Rodgers’ on Pat McAfee’s show and watched the QB routinely blame everyone but himself he could find.

Should any other team in the NFL decide those are all characteristics they want a veteran quarterback to bring into their locker room in 2025, Rodgers will officially be available to sign as a free agent beginning March 13.

The Jets will likely designate Rodgers as a June 1 cut, meaning he would have to stay on the roster until the start of the league year (March 12). He'd be able to sign elsewhere on March 13. #Jets
