Welcome to NFL Week 6! Hopefully, none of you have been placing bets based on my picks. I went a whopping 4-10 last week. Why the lopsided record? I have too much faith in supposed powerhouses (Bills, Eagles, Chiefs) while ignoring new contenders (Patriots, Broncos, Jaguars).
I’d love to steer the ship in the right direction this week with my picks, but there are a lot of tight matchups here that could go either way. Now that the Yankees are eliminated, football will have my undivided attention this weekend.
Special shoutout to Joe Flacco. You’ve got an uphill battle turning around the Bengals’ season, old boy.
In case you were wondering, I am absolutely THRILLED that the Jets are still the only team without a loss. It’s just fantastic, especially heading into a week when we’re going to be playing in London. Nothing bad has ever happened to this team after a tough loss overseas.
