It’s time for NFL Week 5, which means it’s time for the first week of byes. Good timing, too: now everyone in Wisconsin will be focused on the Brewers in the playoffs instead of the Packers. They could use the week off after an exhausting tie with the Cowboys. Might as well be a loss.
As far as the rest of Week 4, I slightly improved upon my record from last week, going 11-5 (that’s excluding the tie). Of course, I would have done better had I put my trust in what I wanted the Giants to do in benching Russ.
Meanwhile, in my world of never-ending Jets disappointments, not even Tyreek Hill’s leg exploding was enough to swing the odds in Gang Green’s favor. By the way, three of our four losses came within one score. It’d be easier if every week were a blowout loss. At least we have company at the bottom with the Saints and Titans.
