Tony Dorsett had an extraordinary college career at Pittsburgh, where he won the Heisman Trophy and helped lead his team to a National Championship in 1976. Dorsett then transitioned seamlessly to the NFL, becoming a cornerstone for the Dallas Cowboys.
He finished his professional career with 12,739 rushing yards and 92 total touchdowns. In Super Bowl XII, he rushed for 66 yards on 15 carries, helping the Cowboys defeat the Denver Broncos 27-10.
Marcus Allen’s journey to football greatness began at USC, where he won a National Championship in 1978. Three years later, he secured the Heisman Trophy in 1981, rushing for 2,342 yards that season. Allen’s professional success peaked in Super Bowl XVIII when he led the Los Angeles Raiders to a commanding 38-9 victory over Washington. His 191 rushing yards and two touchdowns earned him Super Bowl MVP honors. He ended his NFL career with 12,243 rushing yards and 145 total touchdowns.

Charles Woodson is one of the rare defensive players to win the Heisman Trophy, which he accomplished in 1997 while also helping Michigan secure a National Championship that same year. His college stats included eight interceptions and a punt return touchdown. Woodson waited over a decade for his Super Bowl moment, but in the 2010 season, he finally achieved it. As a leader on the Green Bay Packers’ defense, he helped guide the team to a 31-25 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV. Woodson retired with 65 career interceptions and 13 defensive touchdowns.

Reggie Bush was one of the most electrifying players in college football history. At USC, he played a crucial role in winning National Championships in 2003 and 2004. In his 2005 Heisman-winning season, he recorded 2,218 all-purpose yards and 18 total touchdowns. Although the award was later vacated, his impact on the game remained undeniable. Bush’s professional career led him to the New Orleans Saints, where he contributed 34 rushing yards and 38 receiving yards in their Super Bowl XLIV 31-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. He finished his NFL career with 9,088 all-purpose yards and 58 total touchdowns.
