Anthony Richardson simply cannot catch a break.
The Indianapolis colts were taking on the Baltimre Ravens on Thursday night for a preseason game when things went terribly wrong.
Richardson was injured — sacked by David Ojabo, who came in untouched on a second-and-10 pass attempt. Richardson landed on his left shoulder and eventually got up before jogging off the field under his own power, favoring his right hand.
The third-year pro lasted just two series before being ruled out for the game due to a finger injury.
The Colts later announced Richardson would not return to the game because of the injury.
Now, we are seeing just how bad Anthony Richard’s finger was after that hit.

After his injury, Richardson was replaced by veteran Daniel Jones, who was expected to start Indianapolis’ second preseason game as part of the team’s quarterback battle between the former first-round picks.
The Colts signed Jones to a one-year, $14 million deal during the 2025 offseason.
Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson suffered an injury to the pinky finger on his throwing hand and was immediately ruled out for the rest of the preseason opener.
Injuries and inconsistent play have plagued him since he was drafted.
Yet another injury might fully end his career with the Colts after this season.
