The Green Bay Packers have already received the worst-case scenario injury update on superstar linebacker Micah Parsons.
Late in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, Micah Parsons suffered a serious-looking injury on a non-contact play. Parsons had to leave the game and did not return.
Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for Parsons’ worst fears to come true.
Per Pro Football Talk’s Josh Alper, the Packers fear that Micah Parsons tore his ACL. That would be a season-ending injury for the MVP of their star-studded defense:
“Parsons left Sunday’s game in Denver with a non-contact injury to his left knee and a league source tells PFT that the Packers believe Parsons suffered a torn ACL. An MRI will be done to confirm that diagnosis.”
Jordan Love and the Packers fell out of first place in the NFC North with a 34-26 loss to the Broncos. The Chicago Bears reclaimed the top spot with a blowout victory over the Cleveland Browns.
Green Bay and Chicago meet again at Soldier Field next Saturday. That game will likely determine the winner of the NFC North.
