The Green Bay Packers have been favored in every game of the 2025 season so far, and week 7 will be no exception. The Packers make their longest road trip of the year this weekend, heading to the desert to face the Arizona Cardinals. But despite the long flight, the oddsmakers just up the road in Las Vegas still have the Packers favored by a comfortable margin.
As of Monday morning, the Packers head into the week favored over the Cardinals by 6.5 points, according to FanDuel sportsbook.
If the spread holds, this would be the fourth straight game that the Packers are favored by at 6.5 or more points. However, they have not covered that spread in any of the previous three, going 1-1-1 straight up in that span. On Sunday, they defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 27-18, failing to cover a 14-point spread that matched their biggest as a favorite since 2012. That came after a 40-40 tie against the Dallas Cowboys when favored by 6.5 in week 4 and a 13-10 loss to the Browns the week before as 7.5-point favorites.
However, the Packers still beat the Bengals by two possessions despite playing a game that was far from perfect. Meanwhile, Arizona is also trending towards missing two of their most important offensive players, with quarterback Kyler Murray (foot) and wide receiver Marvin Harrison, Jr. (concussion) in question for week 7. Those potential absences would be in addition to the injuries to running backs James Conner and Trey Benson, who are both on injured reserve.
Meanwhile, the Packers’ 10th-ranked scoring defense has allowed 18 or fewer points in four of their five games and will face a Cardinals team that ranks 20th in the NFL in points scored even while having many of those key players for their first six games. Those factors all contribute to a fairly low points total from the books, with the over/under line currently set at 44.5. That’s a similar line to the week 6 line against the Bengals, which ended at 45 and a straight push. Meanwhile, Packers games have gone under three times this year against just the one over (the 40-40 tie in Dallas).
Stay tuned for additional injury news this week that could affect the line as the week goes on.
