Three Keys
1) No major injuries – Since this is going to wind up being, basically, a preseason game, we’ll go with the same major key that we use for preseason games. Let’s just get out of this one without having any key players suffering any significant injuries going into the offseason. We don’t need to be monitoring anyone’s rehab when they should be worrying about making progress during the offseason program and that sort of thing.
2) Positive reps for #9 – J.J. McCarthy is going to get the start in this season finale. He looked like he had finally started turning the corner before he had his hand injury against the Giants, and against what’s likely going to be an undermanned and pretty vanilla Green Bay defense, he should get the opportunity to put together some positive momentum going into the offseason. Here’s hoping that’s what we see in this one.
3) Is this it for some fan favorites? – This could be the final time we see a couple of fan favorites in the purple and gold. We know that Harrison Smith has been thinking about hanging it up for the past couple of seasons, and the rumors have been swirling that this could be the last time we see C.J. Ham before he hangs it up as well. If this is the last dance for both of those guys, and potentially some others, hopefully the team can send them out on a high note.
