We’re now a little less than ninety minutes away from kicking things off for the 2025 regular season finale between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium. Both teams have released their inactive lists for today’s game, so let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out.
The Packers had a couple of players they had listed as “out” on their final injury report that they have since moved to IR. As you can see, they have quite a few starters among their inactives, including McKinney and Walker, who hadn’t been listed on their injury report all week. They’re not taking any chances in this one, it wouldn’t appear.
No big surprises on the injury report for the Vikings. Hockenson, Jones, and Price had all been declared “out” on the team’s final injury report, while McGlothern was a late add to the Friday injury report and will be sitting this one out. The team added cornerback Zemaiah Vaughn and defensive lineman Taki Taimani to the 53-man roster earlier in the week, and also elevated linebacker Sione Takitaki and wide receiver Jeshaun Jones to the big roster for today’s game.
That’s the final set of inactives for the 2025 season for your Minnesota Vikings, as they’ll be kicking things off here at noon Central time against the Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium. We’ll have our first Open Thread of the day hitting the site at 11:30 AM Central, and we hope to see a lot of you folks there.
