Why 49ers’ George Kittle will use friend’s cast-off clubs in Tahoe golf tourney debut (paywall)
“Kittle chatted with Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce, another tournament regular who shared some blunt advice: Have a few drinks before teeing off, to calm down any nerves. That might not work, based on Kittle’s comments Tuesday.
“My anxiety couldn’t be any higher,” he said. “I’ve been playing golf four days in a row just to get used to it a little bit, and I have my buddies chirp at me the entire time. Hopefully I’m getting a little better, serviceable.”
49ers’ Jauan Jennings named among NFL’s top safety-blanket wideouts
“Jennings landed at No. 7 on the list with an 18.8% threat rate, which represents the percentage of routes where the player is targeted while the passer is under duress.
“Jennings caught 16 of 31 targets for 188 yards and 10 first downs with 49ers quarterbacks under pressure,” Gray wrote. “He hauled in three touchdowns, secured five of eight contested targets, and had five plays of 15-plus yards in those situations.”
