Gisele Bündchen is “furious” over Tom Brady’s recent subtle shot at her, according to a new report.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen were married from 2009 to 2022 and had two children together, a son named Benjamin and a daughter named Vivian. The two announced their divorce in Oct. 2022, while Brady was in his final NFL season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brady initially announced his retirement in February 2022, only to announce 40 days later that he was coming back for a 23rd season. It had been widely reported that the decision to continue his playing career played a factor in their divorce, and Bündchen had been vocal about her concerns with the violence in football.

In a newsletter he published two weeks ago, Tom Brady discussed the importance of balancing his football career with being a parent. Many fans interpreted it as a shot at his ex-wife.

Now, a new report from the National Enquirer states that Bündchen was “furious” with Brady’s subtle swipe at her in his newsletter. Here’s what an insider told the outlet:

The more he reflects on it, the more cross he is about how she treated him during the marriage and how she complained about him pursuing his passion. He just had to say something.

Word from Gisele’s camp is that she’s furious and thinks he’s acting bitter and being a nuisance. Since they split, all she wanted was to do her thing privately — but now here’s Tom needlessly stoking the fire with these statements. Tom’s pals are saying he should quit making these thinly veiled comments — or at least he should tread more carefully.”

For those who didn’t see his previous comments, here’s what Brady wrote in the newsletter:

“For instance, I think part of being a great father is being a great example of doing what it takes to take care of your family. I chose to do it by playing football. My dedication to the sport, the hours of practice, the moments when I was laser focused—those were times when I believe I was doing the best possible thing for my family and my kids, by prioritizing my profession and teaching, by example, what it takes to be really good at your job, what it takes to follow through on commitments, what it takes to be a great teammate; and showing them, also by example, that work is a big part of all of our lives.

Remember, your children are watching everything. They see what you do in every aspect of your life and how you do it. Reading bedtime stories and helping them with homework are not the only ways to be a great parent.

And neither is winning Super Bowls or MVPs. Being a great football player didn’t make me a great dad,...
