The 0-3 New York Giants can’t start the season over. They are starting a new era on Sunday, though, as rookie first-round pick Jaxson Dart will replace Russell Wilson as the starting quarterback when the Giants host the 3-0 Los Angeles Chargers.
“We’re going with Jaxson,” head coach Brian Daboll said. “We’re going to get him ready to play this week and the remainder of the season. He’s going to do everything he can.”
The 0-3 Giants have had chances to win all of their games, but could not take advantage of opportunities against the Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs.
The 3-0 Chargers have won one-score games against the Chiefs and Denver Broncos. Los Angels is fourth in the league defensively, giving up 16.7 points per game.
The game will be played at 1 p.m. ET. See all of our pre-game, in-game and post-game coverage in our Giants-Chargers StoryStream.
