Abdul Carter feels the pain of his former teammate.
Former Penn State Nittany Lions wide receiver Julian Fleming was seriously injured, and his girlfriend, Alyssa Boyd, was killed in an ATV crash in Pennsylvania on Friday.
On Friday night, the couple was driving down a rural road in Bradford County near the Pennsylvania-New York border when they struck a deer. Fleming was transported to Guthrie Troy Community Hospital and released on Saturday. The passenger on the ATV, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd, was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to a police report, neither person was wearing safety equipment, and the crash is under investigation.
Fleming, a five-star recruit out of high school and state record holder for receiving yards in Pennsylvania, spent four seasons at Ohio State before transferring to Penn State in 2024. Fleming signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent after catching 14 passes for 176 yards and a touchdown for the Nittany Lions this past season.
Unfortunately for him, he reportedly failed his physical and did not end up joining the team.
In the meantime, his former teammate had something to say to him.
New York Giants’ incoming stud Abdul Carter had a message for him on X.
“stay strong fam💔💔🙏🏾🙏🏾. Julian Fleming🦾,” Carter wrote.

New York Giants rookie Abdul Carter is expected to do great things in his rookie year.
Last week, Carter secured his first NFL contract, signing a four-year rookie contract for $45.3 million, all fully guaranteed. Included in the deal is a signing bonus of $29.5 million.
Carter was the No. 3-overall pick in last month’s draft, coming off the board after the Titans selected quarterback Cam Ward first and the Jaguars traded up to No. 2 to take wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter.
Carter had 12.5 sacks and 23.5 tackles for loss in 2024 for the Nittany Lions.
If he can recreate that production, the Giants would be ecstatic.
