Shortly after defensive coordinator Shane Bowen complimented Dane Belton in a pre-practice media session, the safety went out and grabbed his third interception in six OTAs so far.

"Dane has been really good for us here early," Bowen said. "Like he's had a really good spring. Finding ways to get him on the field, what he can do for us to help us. But really encouraged about that group. I think M (new secondary coach/defensive pass game coordinator Marquand Manuel) and (new cornerbacks coach) Jeff (Burris) have done a really good job with them, and Pops (Mike Adams). They've done a really good job working with those guys and I'm encouraged about where we are at right now. "

Bowen went as far as to say Banks is "locked in" and mentioned that the 24-year-old is asking a lot of questions.

So I'm encouraged about the progress he's made from when he got back here to where we are right now."

Wilson is much better than Robinson expected, evident by the private workout he, Slayton and Johnson held with him a bit back. Robinson said he can still sling it, but more importantly, he hasn’t worked with a quarterback who’s commanded the huddle like him before.

“I just think about having success today,” Wilson said. “That’s always been my approach. I’m trying to be the best in the world. I think that for me, mentally, you have confidence in yourself and you have confidence in...
