For me, it’s just learning to run at this weight; learning to play faster, play bigger, and play stronger through contact. . . Just had to get stronger.”
Besides Beckham and a handful of current Giants teasing the possibility of a reunion tour, this actually makes some sense. “OBJ” is still a fan favorite among contingents of Giants faithful for the spunky playmaking that made him an NFL phenom at the start of his career. And some added receiver depth couldn’t hurt behind returning starters Nabers and Darius Slayton. If coach Brian Daboll is trying to squeeze what he can out of Russell Wilson before turning to Jaxson Dart under center, Beckham registers as a decent low-risk gamble to give New York another set of proven hands off the bench.
Trade edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux. Yes, New York can use an edge rusher rotation and get plenty of value out of him. It can create a NASCAR-style package where one of its edge rushers moves inside on third down. But the Giants can also trade Thibodeaux to a contender that needs help on the edge, such as the Packers or the Lions, and probably get a Day 2 pick in return. More draft capital would be a huge help for 2026 when they'll be trying to find as many strong offensive players as possible to build around quarterback Jaxson Dart and wide receiver Malik Nabers.
Dolphins Get: Edge Kayvon Thibodeaux; Cardinals Get: WR Tyreek Hill; Giants Get: OT Jonah Williams. Arizona would have to send a proven blocker to the New York Giants to make a deal happen in this scenario. They have suffered through multiple false starts trying to rebuild their offensive line. Despite multiple high investments in the position group, it's still not quite where it should be. Williams has the potential to slide into right tackle and complete the fivesome.
