New York Giants headlines for Friday
Good morning, New York Giants fans!
What began as an in-house 2014 training camp video series focused on a pair of roster hopefuls - undrafted cornerback Charles James II and fourth-round tight end Adrien Robinson - has evolved into a very popular mainstay put together by the Giants’ production department a dozen years later.
The all-new installment of “Giants Life,” presented by Cadillac, will be in two parts and released on all of the team’s social media channels, featuring No. 3 overall pick Carter and No. 25 overall pick Dart, in advance of rookie camp, which begins Friday.
Which midround pick will have fantasy value in 2025?
Stephania Bell, fantasy football analyst: Cam Skattebo, RB, Giants. Fantasy football favors running backs who are dual threats. Last year at Arizona State, Skattebo posted over 2,300 total yards, including 1,711 in rushing and 605 in passing. He has the potential to bypass Devin Singletary as the complement to speedster Tyrone Tracy Jr.
The Giants are very, very high on Johnson. They’ve told anyone who will listen they think he’s going to break out. We’ll see. Johnson caught 29 passes for 331 yards and a touchdown his rookie year.
New York Giants: Quarterback. The Giants tried to get aggressive for Matthew Stafford when he became available, and there was also talk of them trying to move up to No. 1 overall for Cam Ward. But neither move panned out, and now their quarterback room consists of Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and Jaxson Dart. It’s unknown who will start the most games and what the group’s ceiling is.
