Jaxson Dart is happy to be the Giants’ song-and-dance man | New York Post

A Broncos linebacker noted that Jaxson Dart dances and wears chains. Dart was amused by that. He gave The Post his response: “I think a lot of guys wear chains and dance when they score touchdowns. I appreciate him following my dance touchdowns.”

How Giants are borrowing from Ole Miss playbook to accentuate Jaxson Dart’s strengths | The Athletic

A big part of Dart’s comfort level in his three starts has been the way coach Brian Daboll and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka have tailored the offense to their young quarterback’s strengths. That has included taking passing concepts from Ole Miss’ playbook and featuring them in the Giants’ offense. The Giants have even started using Ole Miss coaches’ names for some of their one-word play calls when they’re going up-tempo, which was another staple of Dart’s college offense.

“I was trying to figure out a few concepts back home, like ‘What play is that? I don’t remember running that play,’” said Wide receiver Juice Wells, who was re-signed to the Giants’ practice squad on Monday. “I was just watching and I was like, ‘Dang, those look exactly like some of the Ole Miss plays’.”

“First of all, it’s just cool to be in an organization where everybody can cooperate and communicate with one another,” Dart said. “That’s something that I’m really thankful for, just being here. So, me and [Daboll] have conversations all day, every day, about kind of how he sees things, how I see things. There’s definitely a lot of communication.”
