As the New York Giants are watching the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs, as the team is up 3-1 in the series after a historic comeback win on Wednesday, 107-106, the football franchise looks for the same success. With the Giants now under head coach John Harbaugh, the hope is that the team could have more accomplishments, but Kayvon Thibodeaux wants to see the same fan reactions as well.
Besides the success of the New York basketball team, a huge talking point has been about the fans, such as the general rowdiness, even going as far as some violent incidents involving some fans beating up fans of San Antonio. Thibodeaux would respond to a post on X, formerly Twitter, about that and said: “We need this energy in MetLife.”
“No bull, soon as the Knicks came back, I watch 8 people take they jersey off and hide em I swear we need this energy in MetLife,” Thibodeaux wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday.

Barring a great comeback for the Spurs, the Knicks are on the way to winning the NBA Finals with a commanding 3-1 series lead, coming back from a 29-point deficit on Wednesday. The hope for the New York sports community is that other teams will achieve that level of success, such as the Giants, led by Harbaugh, who Thibodeaux called a “maniac” in a positive way on Tuesday.
“I subscribe to the idea that if you got two brothers fighting, you make them fight, and then they got to go clean the s*** up after, you don’t just call it a day, and everybody’s done. And for me, I appreciate that mindset, like, no matter what is going on, we’re still gonna get the work done, because the work is the work, so as far as Coach Harbaugh, I think he’s a maniac, he’s obsessed. I love it. He’s so great at explaining things,” Thibodeaux said, via SNY Giants.

At any rate, New York looks to improve after finishing with a 4-13 record last season.
