New York Giants linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux finally saw enough on Sunday night and decided to respond to some critics.

As the entire football world began piling into the Giants and general manager Joe Schoen over the decision to let running back Saquon Barkley leave via free agency, a comment by former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant proved to be the straw that broke the camel’s back.

The Giants have got to be sick; I don't care what anyone says.

“We got the same amount of SB,” Thibodeaux posted, pointing out that he and Bryant are ringless.

For the next three hours, the two repeatedly traded blows.

“That’s a fact but I had a great career and I’m in the record (book),” Bryant wrote. “Sooooooo… . I’m good with that! you guys let go of the best player in the NFL this year and the gm (son) told him straight in his face to draft Jayden Daniels. You shouldn’t be addressing me you should be addressing your dumb (expletive) GM.”

Bryant obviously watched “Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants” and saw the clip in which Schoen’s son suggested trading the farm for Jayden Daniels. The clip has gone viral again in recent days.

“I’m shooting on any old head mentioning the giants from here on out,” Thibodeaux wrote, following it up with a meme suggesting he was looking for the hate.

“The only player over there who’s legit is Malik Nabers… Other than that, sorry to break it to you buddy, you guys are awful,” Bryan responded. “Cut all of that political (expletive) out! …You better hope they don’t trade your (expletive) the way you’re hyping …Pipe down buddy… I bet not see you looking for a trade or cut.”

Thibodeaux proceeded to fire off multiple posts that were later deleted, which he acknowledged.

“Why haven’t you retired @DezBryant?” Thibs wrote. “He Waiting on the next pandemic to get a work out… . Anybody talking about the past not doing (expletive) now.”

“Man what happened in Green Bay @DezBryant?” he continued, referencing Bryant’s critical drop in the 2015 NFC Championship Game. “If Joe call you for a work out I bet you show up @DezBryant.”

Like Thibodeaux, Bryant would not relent.

“What is this fool talking about? I’ve stopped playing football,” Bryant wrote. “I’ve stopped playing football… I don’t care about playing football… . I’ll let you make it. I support athletes and root for you guys, but when organizations do stupid things, I’ll keep calling out the things that don’t support you. My tweet clearly went over your head… Stop being sensitive.. I really don’t wanna keep going back forth.”

The exchange continued to escalate with Thibodeaux suggesting he brought a “gun to a boxing match,” while Bryant suggested they “rap” in person.

“Everybody think they can say something about a team I represent… . not on my watch,” Thibodeaux wrote. “till I’m not longer a giant...
