Russell Wilson on the field working more than two hours before Giants-Jets. Could this mean he won’t play?
The New York Giants are in action Saturday night, hosting the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in their second preseason game of 2025. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. ET, with the game being shown on NBC4 in New York.

The Giants and Jets held a pair of spirited joint practices during the week. The Giants’ defense got the better of the action both days. The offense struggled until late in the first practice, but held its own in the second practice. Malik Nabers, who has an unspecified injury, did not participate in either workout.
As has been standard operating procedure, Giants head coach Brian Daboll gave no indication during the week regarding whether or not starters would play against the Jets.
“We’ll do what we think is best for the team,” he said.
If past history is an indication, most healthy starters will see at least some action on Saturday and will then sit out the preseason finale on Thursday against the New England Patriots.
