The Las Vegas Raiders have brought wide receiver Amari Cooper back to the organization.
Let’s take a closer look at Cooper:
Size:
6-1, 211 pounds.
NFL experience:|
He is entering his 11th NFL season. He played for the Oakland Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills. He has 711 career catches for 10,033 yards and 64 touchdowns.
College:
Cooper was the No. 4 overall draft pick in 2015, by the Raiders after starring at Alabama.
Raiders history:
Cooper played for the Raiders from 2015 until he was traded for a first-round draft pick to Dallas (the pick turned out to be safety Johnathan Abram) in 2018. He was the Raiders’ No.1 receiver and he had 1,000-plus yard receiving seasons twice. Left tackle Kolton Miller is the only current Raider who played with Cooper in Oakland.
How he will fit in with Raiders:
Cooper, 31, will have a role with the Raiders whether they trade No. 1 wide receiver Jakobi Myers or not. Yet, he is probably not a No. 1 receiver anymore.
