The Las Vegas Raiders signed tight end Albert Okwuegbunam recently.

Okwuegbunam played for the Denver Broncos from 2020-22 and the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023 when Denver traded him just before the season. The Eagles placed him on the injured reserve in 2024 before the season. He also spent time with the Indianapolis Colts in 2024 on the practice squad. Both of his 2020 and’21 seasons were cut short due to injury. He played in 26 games with the Broncos with seven starts. He had all 54 of his career receptions and touchdowns with Denver. He played four games with the Eagles in 2023 but didn’t have any catches.
College:
Okwuegbunam went to Missouri and was drafted by the Broncos in the fourth round in 2020.
How he will fit in with Raiders:
Okwuegbunam, 27, has good size, but he has dealt with injuries and and he hasn’t played a game in two years. He has a chance to sneak on the roster as a depth piece or maybe stick around on the practice squad.
