It looks like the Bills are going full high-tech with the modern locker room.
The Bills will play their first game at the new stadium on Sept. 17. It will be a Thursday Night Football encounter against the Lions.
It’s a uniquely designed stadium, according to ESPN.
“The new stadium has an open-air design but provides significant coverage from the elements, with a roof canopy covering 64% of attendees,” ESPN wrote. “The team made it a priority to keep fans as close to the field as possible, and the club moved the first row on one of the sidelines 54 feet closer to the gridiron than that of the former stadium. Fans will also be welcomed with a new area outside the stadium that includes three bison statues that will be lit up for the opener.”
Buffalo enters the 2026 season with high hopes. That’s the norm with Josh Allen at quarterback. However, there’s a rookie head coach in Joe Brady. And there are questions about how far the team can actually go this year. Still, there are those putting the Bills in the Super Bowl conversation, including CBS Sports.
“After losing ground in the division, Buffalo climbs back atop the AFC East, and Joe Brady proves to be exactly the right choice at head coach,” Tyler Sullivan wrote. “He has the Bills playing to their talent level. Josh Allen remains the best quarterback in the NFL. And DJ Moore becomes the second coming of Stefon Diggs in this offense. That leads to a deep playoff run that ends with the Bills winning Super Bowl LXI.”
