Edgerrin James had quite the career in the NFL, but his son, Jizzle, is making his name in a different sport.
You read that correctly. That is his name, which is posted on social media.
Cincinnati Bearcats guard Jizzle James is the young son of the former NFL running back.
Social media is just finding this out this week after someone pulled up his Bearcats basketball stats.

Cincinnati is currently 15-11 during the 2024-2025 season.
The team is fresh off a loss to West Virginia, where a failed last-minute comeback had them going down by three.
Against West Virginia, Jizzle James scored 13 points on 6 of 20 field goal shooting, including 1 for eight from three-point land. He also grabbed three rebounds and dished out three assists.
In 2024, when Jizzle James was a true freshman point guard for Cincinnati, everybody wanted to know more about his name than his game.
Jizzle is the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Edgerrin James.
Jizzle is not actually his name. His birth name is Edgerrin James Jr.
But where did Jizzle come from?
“Jizzle is like my on-court persona,” Jizzle said to WCPO.
“Oh Jizzle?! I was creating a monster with that name right there. We had to create something special. We had my same name. I always tell him that’s his alter ego, when he turns into Jizzle he turns into a whole other person,” Edgerrin said.
