Friday Cheese Curds: Packers prepared for a weekend off

How are you preparing for a weekend without Packers football?

The saying goes that a bye never comes as a bad time, and as far as the Packers are concerned, that’s probably true. They need the rest and recovery as badly, with three of their top seven linemen currently injured and a good chunk of the rest of the team on either IR or the PUP list. They don’t need a get-well game, they need a get-well couple of weeks, or maybe a month. Or maybe more.

And that’s fine, but from a fan’s perspective, I’m going to be climbing the walls this weekend. We haven’t seen the Packers come out on top in a football game since Week 2, and I’m honestly quite cranky about it! It’s been an annoying couple of weeks to be a Packers fan, and I want them to get back on top as soon as they can.

But all we can do is wait. There’s plenty of good stuff going on with the Packers right now, so I guess we can just bank on that for the time being. It’s going to be a long, long weekend, though. Next Sunday can’t come soon enough.
