Juwan Johnson and Co. will attend this year’s TEU.
The New Orleans Saints will be sending four representatives to George Kittle’s Tight End University this week.
Five years ago, Georgia Kittle, Travis Kelce and Greg Olsen founded Tight End University. The goal is to bring current and aspiring NFL tight ends from across the country together for three days during the summer, where they are able to bond and work on specific parts of their game together, such as film study, on-field drills, recovery and more.
The Saints will be represented by four tight ends this week - Juwan Johnson, Foster Moreau, Michael Jacobsen and Jack Stoll. Here’s the full list of attendees.
TEU began on Monday of this week and will conclude on Wednesday. The event is held at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Many were expecting the Saints to make some big additions to the tight end position, specifically in the NFL Draft, but not a whole lot has changed. They’ve brought in some UDFAs and brought in XFL player Seth Green, but Juwan Johnson and Foster Moreau (and Taysom Hill if you count him as a tight end) still lead this room.
The Saints haven’t gotten a whole lot of production from their tight end room in a few years now, but hopefully Kellen Moore can step in and help scheme up ways to get Juwan Johnson and Co. more involved.
