Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell was arrested in Ohio on Sunday. Bell’s lawyer Thomas Shaffer says the arrest is in relation to the former All-Pro not making child support payments.

“Le’Veon is struggling to make support payments, which are based on a healthy NFL salary – a salary he’s not earned in years,” Shaffer said.

Bell owes more than $50,000 in child support for his child that lives in Michigan, TMZ notes. The arrest in Ohio is to hold him for the Michigan Attorney General office.

Bell was drafted in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft, where he would go on to become one of the best running backs of his era. From 2014-17, he was a three-time All-Pro, two of those being First-Team selections.
