Mims signed a 2-year deal with Tennessee.

Entering the offseason, the New Orleans Saints had many things to fix, and one of those was the running back room. Alvin Kamara is the primary rusher on the roster, but behind him, there were many issues with the group. Knowing this, the Saints made additions of Devin Neal, Marcus Yarns, and Cam Akers. The potential of this group improved, but this also made the room a bit crowded, resulting in the release of running back Jordan Mims. Once released, it was never expected that Mims would be available for long, and yesterday, it was announced that the Tennessee Titans signed the 26-year-old to a 2-year contract, per Jordan Schultz.

During his two years with the Saints, there was always a feeling that Mims could step up if a starter became injured. Unfortunately, this never came to fruition as Mims finished with 70 yards and 2 touchdowns during his time with New Orleans.
